The Lecturer Has Skills

One of the more interesting lab lectures last quarter in mineralogy was given by Geosci grad student Wendy Mao. She talked about techniques for high pressure research and provided milk and cookies. Now the rest of the world is taking notice. . As I always have said, there are a lot of cool people around this place, and they're all trying to sell you t-shirts.

C. Spinator: Well, it's at least more interesting than sounding data. I have to monitor one site for seventy-two hours and all the data has to be copied out from .gif format.

Bananaface: But copying is such a wonderful thing! [Alluding to Trithemius]

C. Spinator: Ah, yes, but sounding data doesn't further the glory of God.
