Best Study Break Ever! (Though A Brent House on the Road Trip Comes Close)
So I interrupted the studying for three hours to see a rock concert. It was standing room only, but I managed to find a place near the stage (about five meters or so). The band was Jimmy Eat World. Yes, Jimmy Eat World played Caltech tonight, thanks to generous funding from a variety of sources. Among other songs, they played one entitled "23." The lyrics, like those of all songs that mention my present saecular estate, are depressing. But the concert was wonderful. The Techers were a better crowd than I expected, starting a hard core dancing and mosh pit near the stage. The band played beautifully and were kind enough to give a two song encore including "Sweetness." Thanks to Jimmy Eat World for taking the time out of their busy schedules to rock out this little corner of Pasadena. Now back to the grind.
