O, Canada!
Well, plans certainly aren't finalized yet, but I have received the necessary permission to take a little working vacation in late July to the charming city of Guelph in Ontario for the Sixth International Conference on Aeolian Research. I, however, missed the abstract deadline, so there will be no conference presentation fun for me. Oh, well.
In other news, finals are next week.
Wedding Presents
I just bought my first wedding present. Marriage is such a logical occasion for giftgiving. Two people decide to create a household together permanently and formally with all manner of religious and social benediction for the rendering of mutual services like weaving and computer game design (for sake of example). Well, thus saith Aristotle. Our response: They must be showered with housewares: spoons, flatware, and all manner of towels, BWAHAHAHA!
