From warblogging.com , Warblogger uses a web spider to find references to John Ashcroft, Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, and John Marlan Poindexter (former NSA under Reagan, indicted and convicted for his involvement in the Iran-Contra Scandal). Warblogging actually seems to have a rather unhealthy fixation on Poindexter, noting that it has obtained Poindexter's social security number, the address and telephone number of one of his children, and a satellite photograph of Poindexter's residence. That this guy replaced Mullah Omar makes no sense. Oddly enough, the Index of Evil seems, even in recent weeks, driven by Osama Bin Laden, proving:
A. Bloggers are obsessed by the war on terrorism
B. Antiwar bloggers have trouble saying good things about Saddam.
C. Osama Bin Laden controls blogs in the same way that Hitler owned Wyoming real estate.
D. No one knows who John Marlan Poindexter is.
I'm thinking of ending all of my entries with "John Marlan Poindexter is a convicted felon" just to give him some index play.
